This guide book opens with the following lines: "The visitor to "Stonehenge will most likely have walked to the center of Stonehenge before he begins to read this guide: therefore let him stand with his back to the highest stone." It ends on page 25 with "The Salisbury Museum contains most of the objects found during the Stonehenge excavations, and the Devizes Museum contains the Colt Hoare collection of items from the barrows." With a wealth of information on the subject of Stonehenge in between.
