The Australian ebayer who sold me these cards, provided the folowing insite to the origional source for these Swap Cards.
It turns out that Coles Swap Cards were cards sold in the 1950's thru a specific department store called a Coles store. They were only available in Australia.

The first Coles "variety store" was opened in Melbourne in 1914 and is still operateing as Coles Myer throughout Australia.
