Stonehenge of Rolla. a reconstruction of the ancient English megalith, can be used to view sunrise and sunsets on the solstices and equinoxes and the north star. The monument, which also features an analemma for determining the date at noon each day, was named one of the Ten Outstanding Engineering Achievements of 1984 by the National Society of Professional Engineers.
