Stone Circle Snow Globe

Stone or Clone henge?
At first glance, there is little question that Puckator has produced a file Clonehenge example. Had the graphics artist who produced the artwork for box and label created some stones graphically and not used an identifiable view of Stonehenge taken from the south, looking north, any commercial connection to Stonehenge could be disavowed.
So what we have here is an example that walks the fine line between being a Stonehenge or a Clonehenge collectible. The Stonehenge image on the box and tag make it Stonehengie enough for me, but there is little question attempts have been made to avoid any direct commercial connection to Stonehenge.

There is little question that a Stonehenge silhouette was used, it is the view one expects to see looking north at Stonehenge from the south. There are stars in the sky, so one can only assume that the artist is presenting a sunrise somewhere other than at Stonehenge, or we are viewing the Northern Lights pouring up from the horizon, as viewed from Stonehenge.

As a followup to the Christmas 2008 selection of the Herritage snow globe featured on Clonehenge Blog, for 2009 The Clonehenge Blog has awarded 5½ druids to this Stone Circle Snow Globe, partly for that little walkway spiraling up the base toward Stonehenge.
