James Warhola - Stonehenge Fighters #35
Produced in 1995 by FPG as #35 of a set of 90 collector cards based on the cover art of James Warhola. There is little question this card scores high on the scale of modern Henge Collectibles. I would like to know more about the story or publication it was connected with.
The back of the card has a message from the artist, it reads: "At a young age, I red books by Robert E. Howard and was mesmerized by their covers-by Jones, Frazetta and Krenkel. Though I may not do many barbarian theams, I think of these greats as a wonderful insperation."
Too bad is did not have a Stonehenge referance in the text, that would have scored big on the Henge coolness scale. Many thanks to John aka "realm*of*fantasy" on ebay for locateing these singles for the gallery.
