Wilkinson of Trowbridge produced the view of stones as seen before 1900. In contrast to the stark reality, this was a popular view and sold well for many years.

On the left we have the stones that blew down on new years eve 1899 and was not put back up until much later in this story. On the left side of the card the stone can be leaning and propped up by a slowly collapsing bluestone. This stone was the first to be repaired in 1901. It is these two features that visually mark the Modern History of Stonehenge.
