R. Wilkinson & Company, Trowbridge - Postcard printed in Beligum with Stonehenge Admit One Adult stamp and 21th June 1910 inscription.

Description : The back of the card reveals "21st June 1910 Longest Day Sunrise" with the word Sunrise underlined twice. As if there was any question as to the facts of the visit, attached to the Card is a "Stonehenge Admit One Adult" admission stamp indicating the one shilling entrance fee was infact paid. More interestingly the serial number on the receipt is 50,783, that makes it just a little over fifty thousand visitors from when the end of the first restoration in 1901 after which the fence went up to the day of the Solstice in 1910.

Are there any Wilkinson experts that can shed any additional light on this card ?
