Stonehenge Tokens, Metals, Coins, Pins, and Badges

By definition a coin is only a coin if it was minted for use in as money. To my knowledge there has never been a true Stonehenge Coin minted as pocket change. Coins printed for use in business are considered tokens, but most people call them coins anyway. Metals struck as pins, awards, medallions and Collectibles generally are referred to as Metals by the experts. For the sake of simplicity I will cattagorize items in this collection a Coins, Pins & Badges, and Metals.

No matter what you call them, Stonehenge Metals and Coins of all types can be a rare find. This gallery features a selection of metals ranging from the latest geocacheing coin and several collectible Metals from the Tower Mint, to a Casino chip, the closes thing to a wooden nickel I could find. In keeping with the heavy metal idea, I also include Mugs, spoons, pins, and badges in this album. Although the only metal contained might be in the dye pigments, the Apollo XVII mission patch, I could think of no better place for it in the current layout.
